Decorative Bisque Stoneware Octopus Table Topper

It could be painted but i would just use a glass paint. I have ordered two and one of the has a very fine crack where the arms attach on the base. So i do not know how well it would hold up in a kiln, it is a fine porcelain without a glaze, it has that rough feel as none glazed clay does. It does have a lot of fine detail so paint detail would make it pop.
